Quote requests are shared with independent companies
When you submit a quote request to Solar Panels New Haven, your contact and project details are shared with independent partner solar companies who may contact you by phone, text or email about solar options, as described in the quote form's consent notice. Solar Panels New Haven is an information resource and installer-matching service, not an installer or financing provider.
Information collected and how it is used
The quote form collects your name, email, phone number, installation address, city, state and ZIP code, ownership and property type, roof type, monthly electricity spend, battery interest and installation timeframe. The submission also includes the source website, landing page and a TrustedForm certificate URL. These details support quote matching, partner follow-up and submission verification.
The site sends quote submissions through the Fluid delivery service. TrustedForm runs when the quote form opens to generate its certificate and receives page and form-interaction information. Vercel Analytics is included for site-usage measurement. Hosting and service providers may process technical request data needed to deliver their services. Email correspondence includes the information you choose to send.
Recipients and sale or sharing
Recipients include independent partner solar companies and service providers involved in delivery, form verification, hosting, analytics and email. Partner companies operate independently and handle information under their own policies. Providing quote details to partners is the sharing addressed by our Do Not Sell or Share page. You may request an opt-out of sale or sharing without requesting quotes.
Retention
The site's quote endpoint forwards submissions to the delivery service; it does not write them to a local database. That does not mean recipients delete the information. No fixed retention period for the delivery service, partner companies, certificate provider or email inbox has been verified for this notice. Email us to ask what is retained about your request, for how long, and to request deletion. Contact a partner directly about records it holds.
Connecticut privacy rights
The CTDPA took effect July 1, 2023. Where applicable, rights include access, correction, deletion, a portable copy, information about third-party recipients, and opting out of sale, targeted advertising and qualifying profiling. Covered controllers generally must respond within 45 days; a conditional extension is allowed. A denial can be appealed. Connecticut Attorney General: CTDPA rights.
How to exercise your rights
Use the email instructions on Do Not Sell or Share or email [email protected] for access, correction, deletion, a copy, recipient information or an appeal. Explain your request and identify the email used for your quote. Do not send identity documents or financial account details. The email draft is not a submission: you must send it. This website cannot confirm inbox receipt or completion of a request.
Since January 1, 2025, covered controllers must honor qualifying opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control. Connecticut Attorney General: preference signals. This site's current quote flow does not automatically apply those signals to lead sharing. Use the email opt-out instructions for an identifiable request; sending an email does not replace the controller's obligation to honor a qualifying signal.
If a request is denied, email the same address with the subject ?Privacy appeal?. The CTDPA provides a response period of 60 days for appeals and a route to complain to the Attorney General if an appeal is denied. Connecticut Attorney General: appeals.
